Newsletter September 2016

sorry
Nalari, the little maasai girl with scoliosis is now back in Tz fom Ghana. She had some operations and is doing well. As she grows, she will have to have more operations. Please pray for her. They have also discovered she is dyslexic.

The rains were very heavy but stopped too soon so few have been able to harvest. The river has been dry for some time and the dam on the farm is emptying fast. The tomatoes are excellent and we need to find better markets. The forecast for short rains is poor (due to El Nina they say), but we need to pray that there will be heavy rain on Kilimanjaro so the river will fill and we can refill the dam. Disease, insects, drought and lack of carefulness by workers are our main enemies.

We are currently collecting maize to refill one of the storage tanks (7.5 tons) but we don't have the finances to fill the second (10 tons). The remaining maize is going fast with so many without food. In Kimashuku they also had virtually no harvest.

We are vey grateful to all of you who pray, support and take an interest in what the Lord has brought us here to do. If you have any suggestions or questions about people or situations you don't know about, please write and we will be delighted to keep you fully informed. With lots of love from

Steve and Anne
