Newsletter December 2019

The farm is progressing well, but we have a good problem, that so much passion fruit is being produced it is breaking the wires because of the weight. The fruit is very sweet (purple variety) and the market price fluctuates a lot. They are still not breaking even, but we are endeavouring to do so.

Things in the church have been encouraging; 6 different people came forward at the end of the meeting, some confessing their sin and others becoming free in a way we have not seen before. One alcoholic (Titus) who has been with us for the last 20 years for the first time was declaring his intent to be free from drink. Please pray for him. It was totally a move of God, not due to any preaching. The bible studies have continued well, with changes in lives as people realise the life of Jesus in them.

We continue to be very grateful for the people God has given us who have been and continue to be deeply involved with us; Wilbard, who needs prayer for his being unable to sleep well at night, as well as for the situation with his wife and son James; Abraham and Salome, he is very busy with the church, the farm, which he supervises, and often called upon by the local community as he is so trustworthy; Puly, with her dispensary, which needs prayer to overcome all the government rules and regulations as she seeks to set up the palliative care unit and all the finances, especially in the set up and running expenses.

We can't express adequately our thanks to all who give generously and pray regularly showing us such love. May the Lord bless you and keep you as we go on together into a new year.

Lots of love from Steve and Anne.
